I just got engaged and I just started planning my big day. My ideal reception is semi-formal. I want it to be more of a party then a lot of weddings I have been too. I would like to find a place that I can bring my own liquor and bartender so we can afford to have an open bar! I have 100 guests attending. I need ideads for the Louisville area. so does anyone have any suggestions for a hall that does not make you use their bar???

Fun and Unique Wedding Reception and Ceremony in Louisville

What about the Speed Art Museum, The Kentucky Derby Museum or the Zoo for a unique setting in Louisville? It will be outdoors, near a pond with a gazebo. I have suggested that her groomsmen and brides maids dress casual. groomsmen khaki's and white button shirts, brides maids white skirts, sleeveless shirts (tank top) flip flops to match their shirts. She loves the idea however we can't deside, should the groom wear a tux or khaki's like his grooms men? She will wear a wedding dress just a basic not super fancy dress. Need Help<br>Thanks
